Why Do "Niches" Buy?

When one desires to buy what would they buy?
What drives them to look for a product or service?
Why do we Buy anywhere?

 If one finds a cause why folks buy can they can craft a product or service appropriately?
Why we exchange money or value?
 The buying code involved as few steps.
The acronym A.I.D.A gives clues on how a buyer is made aware of the product or service. Hence the pre-buying behavior.

AIDA stands for-
  • A - Attention (Awareness): attract the attention of the customer.
  • I - Interest: raise customer interest by focusing on and demonstrating advantages and benefits (instead of focusing on features, as in traditional advertising).
  • D - Desire: convince customers that they want and desire the product or service and that it will satisfy their needs.
  • A - Action: lead customers towards taking action and/or purchasing.


AIDA Activities involves promotional activities. For example an advertisement  is set to attract the attention of its  reader. Once attracted then start to read it; then to interest them, so that they will continue to read it; then to convince them, so that when finished they will believe it. If an advertisement contains these three qualities of success, it is a successful advertisement. 


 BUT It Never Works If.....

If someone is hungry, close to starvation, even if  AIDA brings to them  an advert for the latest  Mercedes Benz they wont see or hear this ad! How so?  Selective perception comes into play. It is  instigated by their hunger! Their attention is switched on the frequency of solving the hunger pangs.... They need food.

So, AIDA works only if the Psychology of the moment is attuned to the Problem of the MOMENT!
This is something more apparent.... Therefore AIDA works in synch with NEED!

Wish, Wants NEEDS!>>>>

A need is an essential product or service that is necessary for organisms to live.

Needs are distinguished from their cousins wishes and wants. If a want is deficiency it never destroys physical life. Yet a NEED will cause a clear negative outcome. Deficient of a need will even bring about serious dysfunction or death. Needs are air, sunshine, water,  food and sex. Needs define the psychology of any NICHE!

Niche Resynchronization

Since need   is a primary niche or market psychological feature that causes an organism to act  fulfilling it by an appropriate product is total marketing. It brings success. Hence to sustain a goal,  purpose or direction to market niche behavior AIDA must of necessity be synchronized to its specific needs. For starters adverts or other promotional tactics must be channeled and promoted to specific needs.
This synchronicity on needs targets profitable niches.

How are such needs satisfied? They are satisfied by providing....
  1. Adequate  food and water... to the hungry
  2. Adequate protective housing.. those in need of mortgage
  3. A safe environment for working... for health and safety conscious workers
  4. A supply of clothing.... for fashion conscious customers
  5. A safe physical environment... for those in need of security
  6. Appropriate health care... alternative health inclusive remedies
  7. Security in childhood... abuse prone environ ie bullying online or otherwise
  8. Significant primary relationships with others... love, parental love and romantic needs
  9. Physical security... locks, alarms, carjacking security systems
  10. Economic security... money saving systems ie secure investments with high RTO
  11. Safe birth control and child-bearing...maternity needs
  12. Appropriate basic and cross-cultural education.... anti racism blogging
